This is a composite material which is contains pigment, lubricant, filler and an impact modifier which increases toughness and durability. These modifications result in a filament which exhibits properties which are particularly suitable for 3D printing. This material provides excellent results, even at low temperatures without heated bed (although 30 – 60°C is recommended). It also exhibits very little deformation as, unlike other commonly used filaments, it does not suffer from significant shrinkage. This means that printing with this material does not require the use of a heated print bed. Due to our stringent quality control procedures, which are implemented from the moment the raw material is acquired, the dimensions of the filament fibres are consistent and reliable. As a result Philament provides excellent, trouble-free results when used in desktop 3D printers which employ either Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) or Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF).
